Patricia Ann Malone, 90, of Colleyville, Texas passed away Tuesday, August 26, 2025, in Colleyville surrounded by her three daughters. She was born on December 30, 1934, near Geronimo, Oklahoma to Milton and Zelma Gallaway. She attended and graduated from Geronimo High School in 1953. Geronimo is also where she met the love of her life, Lyndal Malone. Lyndal and Patsy were married on June 19, 1955. Shortly after they married, they moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma, then on to Bethany, Oklahoma. Patsy had a career in banking after high school in the various places they moved to until she had her three girls. Upon Lyndal's graduation, the family moved to League City, Texas where they would live for 31 years. Later, to be closer to family, the next 24 years were spent in Waco, Texas. Patsy spent her last years in the Colleyville, Texas area, being cared for by her daughters that she so lovingly raised.
Patsy was a devoted wife and wonderful mother. Much family time was spent going on traveling adventures to the mountains to snow ski, to lakes to water ski as well as Disney, Washington D.C., Nashville, Atlanta and other cities to see the sites. Patsy was up for it all, including flying with Lyndal in their small aircraft. She was a faithful co-pilot and truthfully better than a radar - there wasn't a plane in the sky that could escape her notice. Later on, after the kids were grown, Patsy and Lyndal would go on extended road trips to many parts of the US and were proud to say they had seen all 48 state capitals in the continental US.
Family was very important to Patsy. She happily came to stay and help her daughters when each of her grandkids were born, for as long as needed. Patsy and Lyndal had many trips over the years to see their kids, grandkids and great grandkids. They were there for many birthdays, attended all nine grandkid's high school and college graduations, countless sporting events and school programs. She also enjoyed traveling to see her many cousins, aunts and uncles on both hers and Lyndal's side of the family.
She is preceded in death by her husband Lyndal Malone, her parents, Milton and Zelma Gallaway and brother Quinn Gallaway.
She is survived by daughters, Sherri Buscha (Rob) of Round Rock, Texas, Sheila McCleskey (Pete) of Denton, Texas, Kathy Squires (Keith) of Colleyville, Texas, nine grandchildren, Erik Buscha (Becky), Ryan Buscha (Maggie), Jen McCleskey, Joey McCleskey (Carly), JolieAnn Byrd (Andrew), Kaleb Squires (Kristina), Kourtney Cornwall (Gabe), Kinsey Ramirez and Kara Brooke(Daniel). She is also survived by 13 great-grandchildren, Easton and Brynley Buscha, Brooks, Cooper and Jack Buscha, Bennett and Maggie McCleskey, Lian and Addie Byrd, Karson, Kade and Kennedy Squires and Abigail Ramirez.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of their choice.
