Funeral Mass for Patricia Crawford Harris will be 10:00 a.m. Friday, August 11, 2017 in Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Rev. Rayanna Narisetti, Associate Pastor officiating.

Burial will follow in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

The family will greet friends from 6-8 pm Thursday at the funeral home.

Patricia Crawford Harris, Age 89, died Saturday, August 5, 2017, in Oklahoma City.  She was born June 17, 1928 in Cleveland, Ohio to Sherman F. and Rita Ann Crawford.  She grew up in Cleveland, Ohio and graduated high school.  She had worked as a civil servant in Japan where she met and married Major Richard Hale.  They were married in 1953 in Tokyo, Japan and he preceded her in death in 1961.  In 1964 she married Colonel Walter R. Harris who preceded her in death in 1993.

She was Catholic and had been a member of the Officer's Wives Club and the Ditzy Dozen.  She enjoyed Tole painting and had been awarded "Best of Show" at the Oklahoma State Fair.

She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Mary Catherine and Jack Anderson, Mooresville, North Carolina, Sharon and Jeff Jester and Patty and Rick Kleehammer, all of Edmond, Oklahoma; her son and daughter-in-law, Richard and Pam hale, Knoxville, Tennessee; her step-daughter and husband, Mary Jon and Al Sneckenberger, Tuscaloosa, Alabama; her step daughter-in-law, Susan Harris-Hileman, Charlotte, North Carolina; eight grandchildren, three great grandchildren, four step grandchildren and six step great grandchildren.

Her parents, twin daughter and a step son, Walter Harris, Jr., preceded her in death.

Memorial contributions may be made to the donor's favorite charity.
