Funeral service for Pat McBride will be at 8:30 am Friday, February 17, 2017 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Deacon Jim Coe, Holy Family Catholic Church, Lawton officiating.

Burial will follow in the Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin, OK.

The family will greet friends Thursday evening from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Pat McBride, 67, Lawton passed away Tuesday, February 14, 2017 in Lawton.  She was born March 18, 1949 in Jackson, MN to Albert and Viola (Schroeder) Williams.  She married SFC (Retired) John L. "Mac" McBride on May 24, 1969 in Lakefield, MN.  He passed away December 5, 2002.  Pat was the librarian at Eisenhower Elementary for fourteen years.  She was well known for dressing up as book characters to make kids love to read.  She loved going all out for holiday decorating, especially Christmas.  She loved her grandchildren, her children and enjoyed picnicking with her family.  She will be greatly missed by her family and friends.

The family would like to thank the Staff of Cedar Crest Manor for their love and care of Pat during her stay there.

Survivors include her five children; Nicole Jones of Fort Worth, TX, Amanda Taylor and husband Robert of Norman, OK, Melissa Zarraga and husband Inocencio of Cache, OK, Madonna Parks and husband Eric of Hot Springs Village, AR, and John McBride and wife Amanda of Lawton, several brothers and sisters and ten grandchildren; Riley Jones, Brenden Jones, Gavin Taylor, Cardin Taylor, Ethan Zarraga, Abran Zarraga, Lincoln Parks, Hudson Parks, Madelyn McBride and Gunner McBride.

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband.
