Graveside service for Pamela Beth Mawhinney, 61, Snyder, will be at 1:00 pm Saturday, April 13, 2013 in the Fairlawn Cemetery, Snyder with Pastor David McCracken, New Life Assembly of God, Cache, OK officiating.

Mrs. Mawhinney died April 2, 2013 in an Altus hospital.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

She was born February 2, 1952 in Snyder, Oklahoma to Floyd J. and Mildred (Brutton) Purser.  Her family moved to California when she was a young child.  She helped her son with his battle of Muscular Dystrophy for 28 years before his death in 2004.  She moved back to Snyder in 2009.  She lost her battle to cancer on April 2, 2013.  Pamela dedicated her life to taking care of her loved ones. She was a loving mother and grandmother.

She is survived by her husband William Mawhinney, daughter and son-in-law Melissa and David Keiningham, a son, Michael Coleman and daughter-in-law Cathy Lee Coleman, brother and sister-in-law Keith and Velma Purser, brother Harold Purser, and her grandchildren, Brandy and Joseph Coleman and David Jr., and Cody and Layla Keiningham.

Pamela was preceded in death by her parents and her son William Chaun Mawhinney.
