Age 85, Lawton - Services will be 10:00 a.m. Monday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. Al Potts, pastor of First United Methodist Church officiating. Mrs. Whisenhunt died Thursday in Lawton. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born April 16, 1922 in Caddo, Oklahoma, to William R. and Amanda (Davis) Damron. She grew up in the Pleasant Hill and Durant area. She married Robert A. "Karo" Whisenhunt on April 27, 1945 in Durant. He preceded her in death on November 23, 2003. She and her husband moved to Lawton in 1949 from Durant. She was primarily a homemaker. She is survived by two daughters and a son in law, Sharon Kay Lash, Burkburnett, Texas, and Belva Lee and Randy Chambers, Lawton; two grandsons, Matthew Chambers, Lawton, and Ted Lash, Burkburnett, Texas; a granddaughter and her husband, Mandy Lee and Eric Wells, Winchester, Tennessee; three great grandchildren, Tyler, Zebulun and Sarah Wells; Several nieces and nephews.
