Funeral service for Olene Richardson , 87, former Lawton resident will be 11:00 am Monday in the Becker Memorial Chapel with Pastor Paul Cunningham, Westmoore Community Church, Oklahoma City, officiating. Mrs. Richardson died Thursday in Norman. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Olene was born October 28, 1924 in Stonewall, Oklahoma to Willie Noah and Emma Mildred (Cagle) Cochran. She married Alvin Richardson on May 2, 1951 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He died October 20, 2005. Olene worked as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell for 33 years, and was a member of the Southwestern Bell Pioneers. . She is survived by her four children, Carroll Brents and wife Lynn of Lafayette, LA, Danny Richardson and wife Pennie of Arlington, TX, Glenda Prince and husband Curtis of Blanchard, OK, Pam Jenkins and husband Lee of Moore, OK, six grandchildren, Brad, Todd, Heather, Caine, Aaron and Lacie, eleven great grandchildren and a sister-in-law, Mary Beth Cochran of Elgin, OK. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, brother and a grandson Zane. The family will greet friends from 2-4 pm Sunday at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to any Hospice of the donor's choice.
