Graveside funeral service for Okkum Yun Turpin, 58, Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Tuesday in the Fort Sill National Cemetery with Rev. Kiyoung Jeong, Pastor, New Light United Methodist Church of Lawton officiating. Mrs. Turpin died Saturday, October 6, 2012 in a Lawton hospital. Burial will be under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Mrs. Turpin was born September 29, 1954 in Taegu, South Korea. She married Leonard Turpin, Jr. in 1972 in Waco, Texas. She was a homemaker and a member of the New Light United Methodist Church of Lawton. She is survived by her husband, of the home; a daughter, Carol Ann Turpin, Phoenix, Arizona; and a sister, Su Kum Herrgesell, New York. Her parents preceded her in death.
