Visitation for Nylene M. Friesen, 77, Snyder will be from 5:00pm until 8:00pm Tuesday at the Becker Funeral Home in Snyder. Nylene died Sunday in a Snyder care center. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service of Snyder. She was born February 25, 1934 in Grinnell, Kansas to Oren and Elsie (Sherman) Vollbracht. She graduated for Grainfield High School in Grainfield, Kansas. She was the cook for the Ashland Oil Company tow boat for many years. She loved her grandchildren and crocheting. She is survived by her children, June M. Jennings of Oklahoma City, OK, Charles (Chuck) E. Friesen of Oklahoma City, OK, Janet Friesen Spence and husband Chad of Snyder, Oklahoma. Grandchildren, Julie Covey and husband Burke, Takara Maddex and husband Brandon, Kellye Friesen, Ty Spence, great grandchildren Riley Russell, Dylan Covey, Aiden Friesen Morgan and Teigan Maddex. She is also survived by several cousins, other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents and a brother Jimmy Vollbracht.
