Age 54, Lawton - Funeral services will be at 12:30 PM Thursday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Dr. William F. Watkins officiating. Mr. Dennis died Sunday in Lawton. Burial with military honors will be in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin. He was born June 1, 1954 in Evansville, Indiana to Norman Paul and Shirley Fern (Calvert) Dennis. He married Sharon S. Janson on March 17, 1996 in Dover, Tennessee. Mr. Dennis served in the U.S. Army for eight years. He was a jumpmaster with the 101st Airborne Division. He received several awards and medals while in the military. Mr. Dennis had been a Lawton resident since 2007 coming here from Dover, Tennessee. Survivors include his wife, of the home, six children, Norman Chadwick Dennis and Tina Peterson, both of Memphis, TN, Hunter E. Dennis, of the home, Zachary Dalton Dennis, Kentucky, Aaron Lee Janson and Amber Renee Sisemore, both of Dover, TN, eight grandchildren, a sister, Brenda Hogan Dover, TN and four brothers, Randy, Terry, Tony and Greg Dennis, all of Dover, TN. He is preceded in death by his parents and a son, Jason Paul Dennis.
