Funeral service for Norma Joan McKinzie will be 3:00 PM Monday, March 28, 2016 in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Rev. Leonard Reimer, chaplain, Promise Care Hospice officiating.

Burial will follow in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Norma Joan McKinzie, age 81, of Lawton, passed away Thursday, March 24, 2016 in Lawton.  She was born May 6, 1934 in Depew, Oklahoma to Lawrence William and Minnie Evelyn (Vaughan) Batchelor.  She married Gaberal B. "Gabe" McKinzie on October 6, 1951 in Depew.  He died March 19, 2006.  Mrs. McKinzie worked for Sears for seventeen years, retiring on June 30, 1987.  She was a professional cake maker and received a letter of commendation from the Disabled American Veterans for a cake she had made them.

Survivors include two sons, Paul Wayne McKinzie and his wife Erika, Indiahoma and Lawrence Clifton "Porky" McKinzie and his wife Donna, Burkburnett, Texas, a daughter, Sherrian A. "Sherri" McKinzie and her boyfriend, David Henrichsen, Lawton, four grandchildren, Mary Ann, Patrick William, Mark Gaberal and Aaron Clifton, three great grandchildren, two sisters, Barbara Hodson, Edmond and Judy Haskins, Cumberland Gap, West Virginia and her pets, Baby, Sweet Pea and Daisy.
