Graveside service for Nona Mae Taylor 85, Cache will be at 3:00 PM Friday at Cache Cemetery with John Webb, pastor of Cache Christian Church officiating. Mrs. Taylor died Tuesday, June 05, 2012 in Lawton. Burial will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born August 9, 1926 in Lawton to Lester Monroe and Esther Marie (Petty) Norris. She graduated from Cache High School in 1944. She married CSM (Retired) Rex Paul Taylor on December 6, 1946 in Burkburnett, Texas. He died January 21, 2000. Mrs. Taylor worked for Civil Service at Fort Sill and then for the United States Postal Service. She retired in 1986. Survivors include a daughter, Paula Sue Menefee, Cache, three sons and their spouses, Jimmy and Elaine Taylor, Cache, Gene and Felicia Taylor, Fletcher and William "Bill" and Pauline Taylor, Moore, eight grandchildren and their spouses, Shelly and Todd Landers, San Antonio, Texas, Tommy and Christy Taylor, Cache, Kimberly Selby, Cache, Roxann and Tony Bogart, Fullerton, California, Jennifer and Larry Kerr, Cache, Christopher Menefee, Chickasha, Shanna Salyer, Lewisville, Texas and Kendra and Aaron Chaney, Cyril and fifteen great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and two brothers, Charles and Floyd Norris.
