Graveside service with military honors for Nina Jacobs will be 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, December 10, 2019 at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Dr. William F. Watkins, Pastor of Locust Grove Baptist Church, east of Lawton officiating.

Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Nina Jacobs, 83, Geronimo, Oklahoma passed away Friday, December 6, 2019 in Lawton. She was born Nina Faye Knapp on March 8, 1936 in Swifton, Arkansas to Clyde and Millie (Ball) Knapp. She grew up in Arkansas where she farmed with her family. Nina served in the United States Army where she spent time in the United States and Germany. She married SFC (Ret.) G.D. "Jake" Jacobs in January of 1959 in Sweden. They were married for 44 years until Jake passed away on March 15, 2002. After her marriage she spent most of her time as a mother and homemaker. She loved animals and had many cats and dogs.

She is survived by her daughter, Mary Gunn and her life partner Ray Boydstun, one son, Ted Jacobs and wife Laura, one brother, Lee Knapp, four grandchildren, seven great grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.

Nina was preceded in death by his parents, husband, two sisters, Bernice Brister and Betty Simpson, and four brothers, Darrel, Melvin, Kenneth and Glenn Knapp.
