Age 95, Lawton - Graveside service will be 2:00 PM Wednesday at the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. Mrs. Roberts died Monday at her home. Burial will be in the Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home. She was born on August 24, 1913 in Paris, Texas to William and Ora Ann (Hill) Dotson. She married SFC (Retired) John T. Roberts, Jr. on March 9, 1942 in San Antonio, Texas. He died on December 12, 2000. She was a child prodigy and learned to play the piano by memory at the age of four. She volunteered at the Southside Nutrition Center for more than 30 years. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church. Survivors include a son, John Jason Roberts, of the home; a daughter, Mary Ann Roberts, of the home; a sister, Eula Mae Dotson of Pensacola, Florida; several nieces and nephews and many friends at the Southside Nutrition Center. Her husband, a brother, Clarence Dotson, and two sisters, Edna Moore and Lottie Dotson, preceded her in death.
