Age 83, Lawton - Services will be 10:00 AM Thursday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Terry Marsh, Minister, Carriage Hills Christian Church, officiating. Mrs. Sanders died Monday at her home. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born on April 7, 1925 in Irving, Texas to Roy Lee and Martha (Welborn) Fitch. She married B.J. Pruett in Fort Smith, Arkansas on December 23, 1944. He died on January 7, 1963. She then married Charles Robert Sanders in Lawton in 1963. He died in 2003. She worked for Civil Service at Fort Sill for many years before retiring. Survivors include two stepdaughters, Vicki Hargraves and her husband, Eddy, and Kitsy Sanders, all of Lawton; five grandchildren, Velvet Ward, Crissty Ward, Heath Sanders, Tiffany Little and Ben Cooper; and five great grandchildren, Dakota Ward, Bryce Sanders, Colton Sanders, Kaylee Little and Chase Lepard. Her parents, both husbands, a son, Johnny Sanders, and a brother, preceded her in death.
