It is with great sorrow that the family of Nancy Elizabeth Nunn announces her death.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Thursday, August 29, 2024 from 6-8 pm at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Nancy Elizabeth Nunn was born January 26, 1945 in Manchester, New Hampshire to Donald Ernest and Arlene Elizabeth (Tenney) Goodwin.  She graduated high school in Manchester and later graduated from Alladin Beauty School in Lawton, Oklahoma.

On February 10, 1977, Nancy married SFC (Retired) Charles A. Nunn, in Fort Carson, Colorado. Together, they navigated the challenges of military life, with Nancy taking on the role of homemaker and following her husband's career across the country as well as two tours of duty in Germany. Alongside her dedication to her family, Nancy also held various jobs throughout her life. She worked in the hospitality industry, served as an assistant manager at an apartment complex in Colorado, and worked as a hospital lab technician in Illinois and at Comanche County Memorial Hospital in Lawton.

Nancy was a gifted crafter with an extraordinary ability to create beauty from the simplest of materials. An exceptional seamstress, she lovingly made clothes for her children when they were young and pieced together stunning handmade quilts, which became cherished family treasures.

She is survived by her husband, Charles; three children and their spouses, Carol Harrell, Alice Lillian and William T. Bishop and Scott Randall and Annabelle Glynn; five grandchildren, Stephanie, Patricia, Roland, Melissa and Christine; eight great grandchildren, Kayleigh, Caleb, Liliana, Parker, Braden, Noah, Anna and Penelope; other extended family and her Cocker Spaniel, Missy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, a son-in-law, David Harrell, and a grandson, David Harrell.
