Funeral Mass for Myong Su Yun will be at 11:00 am Saturday, January 7, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church with  Rev. Bonaventura Oh, STM, Korean Martyrs Church, Oklahoma City and Holy Family Catholic Church, Lawton officiating.

Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

A wake service will be held at 6:00pm Friday, January 6, 2017 at Holy Family Catholic Church.

Myong Su Yun, 67, Lawton passed away Tuesday, January 3, 2017 in Wichita Falls, TX.  He was born October 18, 1949 in Mokpo, South Korea to Yong An Yun and Oh Seng Yun.  He grew up in South Korea where he attended school, graduating from Sarijo Men's Catholic High School in 1969.  He came to the United States in 1976, coming immediately to the Lawton-Fort Sill area.  Myong flew back to Korea in 1978 to marry Jong Sun Yun and bring her back to Lawton-Fort Sill to raise their two sons.  He had prior worked for Coca Cola in Lawton and in 2007 he retired from Goodyear after 22 years as a tire inspector.  He was an active member of Holy Family Catholic Church and was a successful small business owner.

He is survived by his wife Jong Sun Yun of the home, his children and their spouses: Ronald and Teresa Yun of Forney, TX,  Henry and Woon Kyeong Yun of Carrollton, TX, a brother Myong Ok Yun, two sisters, Myong Hui Kang and Chung Suk Kang, grandchildren, Ethan Ji-Sung Yun, Gavin Ji Woo Yun and LupeJubilee Ji-Gyum Yun, numerous nieces, nephews and many loving friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his brother Sang Dae Yun and his sister Myong Cha Williams.
