Funeral service for MSG (Retired) Jeffrey C. Jerles will be 12:30 P.M. Thursday, July 7, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with 1SG (Retired) Lawrence A. Adams officiating.

Burial with full military honors will follow at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

MSG (Retired) Jeffrey C. Jerles, age 55, of Lawton passed away July 4, 2016 in Wichita Falls, Texas.  He was born July 25, 1960 in Cambridge, Ohio to Willard "Clem" and Susan Lynn (House) Jerles.  He married Dietra (Dee) Hewison on June 26, 1982 in Byesville, OH.  He was a veteran of Desert Storm and received many awards and decorations including two Bronze Star Medals and the Sergeant Morales Club.  He retired from the U.S. Army after twenty-five years of service.

Survivors include his wife, of the home, two children, Josh Jerles and Jessica Wilson and her husband RL, grandchildren, Tyler Jerles, Landon Jerles, Austin Wilson and Riley Wilson, father-in-law, Gary E. Hewison, Byesville, OH and siblings, Julie Hunt and her husband Steve, Indiana, Jay Jerles and his wife Michelle, Oklahoma and Joel Jerles and his wife Krista, Ohio and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents and mother-in-law, Judy K. (Sapp) Hewison.
