Age 47, Lawton - Funeral Mass will be 10:30 AM Monday at Blessed Sacrament Catholic Church with Father Joseph R. Ross, pastor officiating. Miss Scott died Wednesday in Lawton. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 Sunday at the funeral home. She was born July 29, 1962 in Wurzburg, Germany to M.G. and Cecilia T. (Denninger) Scott. She graduated from Lawton High School. She also graduated Magna Cum Laude from Oklahoma City University with a Bachelor's Degree in music. She received her Master's Degree from Southwestern Oklahoma State University in Weatherford. She had been a music teacher at Medicine Park, Riverside Indian School in Anadarko and Sacred Heart Catholic School in Oklahoma City. She worked for Taliaferro Community Mental Health Center. She played in the Lawton Philharmonic Orchestra. Miss Scott was a Catholic. Survivors include her parents of Lawton, two brothers Herbert F. Scott and Joe Scott and his wife Sharon, all of Lawton, a sister, Teresa Sellers, Oklahoma City, two nieces, Meagan Scott and Madison Scott, both of Lawton, three nephews, Chad Sellers and his wife Kensi, Camron Sellers and Dakota Scott, all of Lawton and aunts, uncles and cousins.
