Mitchell Dwayne Palmer, 37, passed away on August 22, 2026.

He was born on July 24, 1989, to Michael Palmer and Stacy Meyer in La Mesa, California. He grew up in San Diego, graduating from High School in 2008. Mitchell immediately joined the United States Army, where he served as a HIMARS crewman, platoon leader, and hypersonic team. After his military career, Mitchell served as an Electronics Technician with the Cherokee Defense Solutions on Fort Sill.

While stationed on Fort Sill, Mitchell met the love of his life, Sarah Viscarra, through some mutual friends. They were married on January 27, 2023. He lived to make her happy. He was exceptionally romantic and had such a tender soul, who showered her with love, care, and amazing foot rubs every single day.

Mitchell was best known for his incredible sense of humor and his natural ability to bring a smile to anyone's face. He genuinely loved making others laugh and brightened every room he walked into. His vibrant energy, quick wit, and warm heart will be deeply missed by his family, friends, and all who knew him.

He was firmly rooted in American muscle. He was a true Ford enthusiast who took immense pride in his beloved Ford mustang.

Mitchell was fascinated with history and enjoyed working out. He loved stargazing and astrology. He was also a deeply loyal sports fan, always passionately cheering on his favorite teams: The Los Angeles Charges, the San Diego Padres, and Arkansas Razorbacks.

Above all else, Mitchell was a fiercely devoted family man. Together, Mitchell and Sarah took care of their two children, Kye and Blossom. Mitchell was truly a great dad loving them, and filling their lives with warmth, support, and pride. He treasured time with his family, and sought out every opportunity to be together, whether spending a day on the lake, taking family vacations, or simply gathering at home. For Mitchell, these moments with his family were what mattered most. He never missed an opportunity to show them how deeply he loved and cared for them.

He is survived by his wife, Sarah Palmer; children, Kye and Blossom; parents, Michael Palmer and Stacy Meyer; sisters, Michelle and Ameila; nieces, April and Zoey; stepmom, Lisa; stepdad, Jason; and Uncle David.

He was predeceased by his grandparents, Earl Palmer and Cheryl Ann Palmer.
