Mitchell Delong Dunegan, 68, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, March 8, 2023 in Lawton. He was born June 21, 1954 in Lawton to Clyde And Louella (Justice) Dunegan. He graduated from Lawton High School and served in the US Army from 1972 to 1975. Mitchell married Judy Owings on May 27, 1993 in Bentonville, Arkansas. He worked as a semi-truck driver for over 40 years. Mitchell enjoyed the outdoors, camping, grilling, and spending time with his family. He really loved to cook in general and sharing recipes with others. He was known to be a handyman and was always willing to help others. Mitchell loved his dogs and would personally hand feed them. One of his favorite places to go in Lawton was Wayne's Drive Inn.

Mitchell is survived by his wife of the home, three children, Heather Dunegan Lyon of Saint Jo, Texas, Michael Dunegan of Lawton, Oklahoma, Kyle Dunegan and wife Meredith of Stigler, Oklahoma and numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.

He is preceded in death by his parents and one daughter, Danielle Dunegan.
