Mildred Bernice Bartlett died Sunday, March 8, 2026, in Snyder, Oklahoma, at the age of 93. She was born September 9, 1932, in Elgin, Oklahoma, to Bill and Ella E. (Seymore) Etter. Mildred grew up in the Elgin area, where she attended school. She married Ward Bartlett on March 6, 1951, in Lawton, Oklahoma. He preceded her in death on February 4, 1994.

After she and Ward married, they raised three sons and three daughters, and Mildred lovingly made many of their dresses, shirts, and jackets by hand. She also enjoyed creating quilt tops, which she had quilted, and in her spare time she found great pleasure in crocheting.
She is survived by her children, Mildred L. Pendergrass, Chickasha, Oklahoma, Clarence E. Bartlett, Seligman, Missouri, Alice DeGroff and husband Glenn, Garfield, Arkansas, Chris Bartlett and wife Cintra, Mountain Park, Oklahoma, Mandy Bartlett and companion, Carol Blackmar, Danielson, Connecticut, and Charley Bartlett and wife Julie, Mustang, Oklahoma; 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren, and 17 great great grandchildren; as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her husband, Mildred was preceded in death by her parents, an infant son, Carol Ward Bartlett, a grandson, Jason DeGraff, and 14 brothers and sisters.
