Graveside service for Michael Anthony Bert will be 2:00 p.m. Thursday, April 28, 2022, at Highland Cemetery, Lawton, Oklahoma with Minister Vincent Edward Mitchell, and Elder Marvin McGee officiating.

Services are under direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Michael Anthony Bert, 46, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Tuesday, April 19, 2022, at his home in Lawton.

Michael Anthony Bert was born on November 3, 1975, in Altus, Oklahoma to Michael Lee and Shirley Ann Allison. He grew up in Altus and Lawton where he attended Lawton Public Schools. He graduated from MacArthur High School in 1995 and then attended Cameron University. He married Yolanda Evette Hood on September 29, 1995. At the time of his passing, he was medically retired from being a maintenance engineer. He enjoyed watching the OU Sooners play and spending time with his best friends and grandchildren. He was always quick with a huge smile, kind word and a good joke. He was a friend to all and was loved by everyone.

He was preceded in death by his father, Michael Lee Bert, and stepfather Henry Lee Kirkwood.

He is survived by his wife, Yolanda Bert; stepsons, Rondell Dominique Scott and Marcus Jarrell Chavis; stepdaughters, Natasha Renae' Hood and Maritza Ivette Garnett; twelve grandchildren; mother, Shirley Ann Kirkwood; three brothers, Vincent Mitchell and wife Pat, Terrance Mitchell and wife Melva and Brandon Bert; six sisters, Brenda Mitchell, Tracy Mitchell, Deanna Mitchell-Cooper, Danitra Bert Bussey and husband Randall, Tanisha Lee and Demarionna Kirkwood and many other family members and friends.
