Funeral service for Meredith E. Fudge will be 11:30 A.M. Thursday, July 12, 2018 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Mike Teel, pastor of Cameron Baptist Church officiating.

Burial will follow in Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

The family will greet friends from 6:00 P.M. until 8:00 P.M. Wednesday at the funeral home.

Meredith E. Fudge, age 86, of Lawton, passed away Sunday, July 8, 2018 in Lawton,  She was born August 8, 1931 in Forbes, Missouri to George and Gladys (Sipes) Sahlin.  She married SFC (Retired) Donald L. Fudge on December 31, 1955 in Aschaffenburg, Germany. He died January 6, 2018.  Mrs. Fudge worked as an assistant vice president at Fort Sill National Bank, retiring after more than thirty years of service.  She and her husband were both past presidents of the Oklahoma Square Dance Federation.  She was a member of Cameron Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, George and Tracy Fudge, daughter, Sharon Currey, three grandchildren, Tierra, Cassie and Sean, five great grandchildren and several step grandchildren and their families.

She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, sister, Ruth Barton and her husband, Bill, son, Michael Fudge, Granddaughter, Jennifer Fudge and son-in-law, Harland Currey.
