Age 80, Lawton - Graveside service will be 10:00 AM Monday at Sunset Memorial Gardens with Monte Ginnings, minister at Northwest Church of Christ officiating. Mr. Foley died Thursday in Lawton. Burial will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. He was born May 11, 1927 in Fort Worth, Texas to Jessie and Bertha (Gibbs) Foley. He married Juanita Hall on May 10, 1973 in Vernon, Texas. She died September 11, 2001. Mr. Foley retired from the City of Lawton after nineteen years of service and was a drummer for several country and western bands. He was a member of Northwest Church of Christ. Survivors include three children, Melva Lynn, Florida, Edward Foley, Tulsa and Doris Ann Martin, Winston Salem, North Carolina, a cousin, Buzz, Fort Worth, Texas and many grandchildren. He is preceded in death by a son, Melvin Foley, Jr.
