Megan MacKenzie Stottmann was born December 9, 1994, in Lawton, Oklahoma.  She passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, April 14, 2022, at the young age of 27.  Megan graduated from Eisenhower High School in 2013 in the top 10% of her class.  She went on to attend Cameron University as a Plus Scholarship recipient and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a degree in Organismal Biology in 2017.  Growing up, Megan enjoyed participating in gymnastics, dance, cheerleading, hiking, and all outdoor activities.  Megan worked summers as a lifeguard until she was hired in the veterinarian field where she worked throughout college.  She moved to Denver in 2017 and worked as a medical assistant until May of 2019 when she returned to Oklahoma.  Megan was a force to be reckoned with.  She was incredibly smart, big hearted, passionate, kind, stubborn, frank, sassy, beautiful inside and out, and unapologetically herself.  She had a smile that could light up any room.  She had a great love for her family, music, equality, and truthfulness.  She also had an immense love for animals and her own fur babies, Jax and Lulu were the center of her world.

Left to cherish her memory are her father and mother, Matt and Pam Stottmann, her only brother Dylan Stottmann, her grandmothers, "Meme" Lola Stottmann, "Nanny" Sue Noll and her special friend Aldon Pointer, her aunts and uncles: Dan and Sue Stottmann, Angie and Scott Warren, Mark and Deanna Stottmann, Marvin and Amanda Noll, Jerome and Samantha Noll, as well as numerous cousins, and other family members and friends that loved her.

Megan is preceded in death by her "Pepa" Kenneth M. Noll and her "Papa" Herman J. Stottmann.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to an organization of your choosing that supports animals, wildlife conservation, human rights, mental health, or addiction recovery.
