Graveside service for former Lawton resident, Mattie Eula Pyle, 102, Chickasha will be at 10:00 AM Thursday at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mrs. Pyle died Friday, August 17, 2012 in Chickasha. Burial will be under the direction of Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born November 5, 1909 in Indiahoma to John E. and Lula (Kyle) Wilson. She married Orren Z. Pyle, Sr. on October 9, 1927 at Fort Cobb, Oklahoma. He died December 2, 1975. Mrs. Pyle was retired from Civil Service at Fort Sill. Survivors include eleven grandchildren; Laverne, David, Teresa, Carol, Brenda, Glenetta, Carl, Jr., Barbara, Ron, Garlynn and Ray, eighteen great grandchildren and 19 great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, daughter; Wanda Rackley and two sons; Orren Z. Pyle, Jr. and Carl H. Pyle, Sr.
