Funeral service for Matthew A. Repasy will be at 10:00 am Saturday, September 17, 2016 in the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Don Barnes, Pastor and Rev. Gary Pratt, Associate Pastor of Lawton First Assembly officiating.

The family will greet friends Friday evening, September 16, 2016 from 6pm until 8pm at the funeral home.

Matthew A. Repasy, 68, Lawton passed away Wednesday, September 14, 2016 at his home.  He was born March 26, 1948 in Bethesda, MD.  He grew up in Alexandria, VA.  He began playing the violin at age 10, and played with the Alexandria Symphony Orchestra.  When he played with the orchestra, he was it's youngest member.  He loved playing his violin for friends, family and his church.  He loved playing cards with friends and family on the weekends, watching a NASCAR race or his beloved Redskins.

Matt loved his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ, and it was with the hope he found in the Lord that he was able to always have a happy and grateful spirit throughout his long illness.

He is survived by his wife Mardi of the home, his children Rebecca Greenway of Falls Church, VA, Deborah Repasy of Centerville, VA, Adam Repasy and wife Jessica of Norcross, GA, Mark Repasy and wife Amber of Oklahoma City, Sarah Repasy of Lawton, five grandchildren, Jonathan, Meaghan, Kate, Olivia and Marissa.  He is also survived by his brother Thomas Repasy and wife Joyce of Danville, IL, and two sisters, Margaret Diggs and husband Daniel of Loudon, TN and Helen Repasy of Alexandria, VA.
