Age 84, Lawton - Funeral services will be 1:30 PM Tuesday at the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. John Cramer, retired United Methodist Minister officiating. Mrs. White died Saturday in Lawton. Burial will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens. She was born December 23, 1923 in Comanche County to Herbert and Mary Inez (Knowles) Sullivan. She married Roy S. White on June 12, 1946 in Wichita Falls, Texas. He died September 24, 2001. Mrs. White went to work as a telephone operator for Southwestern Bell in 1942 and retired in 1983. She was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, retired Ladies Club, was a lifetime member of the Order of Eastern Star #82 and the Roseland HCE Club. Survivors include a step daughter, Merriel Shehorn, Albany, Oregon, a step son, Roy S. White and his wife Leanne, Tillamook, Oregon, two aunts Elizabeth Johns, Apache and Ethel Hurst and her husband, Harold, San Antonio, Texas and many cousins. She is preceded in death by her parents and grandparents, Hattie Lee and Thomas B. Knowles
