Age 75, Lawton - Funeral services will be at 11:00 am Monday in the First Christian Church with Rev. Jenny Wynn, Lawton officiating. Mrs. Trueblood died Wednesday in Lawton. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. *** The Family will greet friends Sunday evening at the funeral home from 6:00 pm until 8:00 pm. *** She was born June 30, 1933 in Anadarko, Oklahoma to John S. and Lodus (Dulaney) Dyer. She married Allen Trueblood on November 5, 1954 in Henrietta, TX. He died December 27, 1988. She and her husband operated Burger King Franchises, and opened the five hundredth Burger King in Omaha, NE in 1968. They then came to Lawton where they operated Burger King Franchises in Lawton, Medicine Park and Duncan. She was a member of the First Christian Church where she was active in children's ministry, the Order of the Eastern Star, was the President of the La-Sill-Oma Chapter of the American Business Women's Association, and was also elected the Woman of the year. She also was involved in the Girl Scouts of America, the American Cancer Society, and was on the board of the J. Roy Dunning Children's Shelter. Survivors include her son Michael Trueblood and wife Toni of Omaha, NE, two daughters and their spouses, AlLisa Hoskins and Max of Lawton, and Maria Knott and Jake Elgersma of Lawton. She is also survived by five brothers, Emanuel Dyer and Flossie of Kingston, OK, John Dyer and Jan of Duncan, OK, Charles Berry of Roswell, NM, Jimmy Dyer and Gail of OKC, OK, Bill Pierce of Nebraska, four grandchildren, Andrew Dale Wesley Trueblood and Cora of Omaha, NE, Michele Lee Fields of Long Beach, CA, Jeffrey Allen Keith Fields of Lawton, OK and Zachary Joseph Hoskins of Lawton, OK. She was preceded in death by her parents, two sisters, Hattie Jo Berry and Lucille Friesen and two brothers, Joe Dyer and Paul Dyer. Memorial contributions may be made to the J.
