Graveside memorial service for Mary Lou (Toegel) Leonard, 65, Lawton, will be 2:00 p.m. Friday, October 17, 2014, at Sunset Memorial Gardens. Mary Lou passed away Friday, June 20th, 2014, in Fort Lauderdale Florida. Burial will be under the direction of the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. Mary Lou was born March 26, 1949 in Lawton to Charles F. and Mary T. (Walsh) Toegel. Mary Lou was the oldest of five children. Her brothers and sister are Charles Toegel Jr,, Michael Toegel, Sharon (Toegel) Dolan and Terrance Toegel. Mary Lou grew up in Lawton and graduated from Lawton High School with the class of 1967. After Mary Lou was married she moved to Germany and eventually back to Lawton. From Lawton she was living in Oklahoma City and then took up permanent residence in Florida. When she was younger she worked as a hair dresser, a teller, a bartender and her final position as a County Employee in the State of Florida. She is survived by her only son Robert Leonard, her two granddaughters Danielle Leonard and Sarah Leonard her daughter in law Angel Leonard and her best friend in this world and beyond Lora Henderson.
