Mary Roberta Partin, 85, went to be with the Lord on May 25, 2026. Mary was born on March 2, 1941, in Cedar Grave, Oklahoma to Pasek and Christina (Fehring) Fitts. A devout Catholic, she attended Blessed Sacrament Catholic School, graduating in 1960.
Mary worked as a carhop at Mac's Drive-In, where she met the love of her life, Jack S. Partin. Despite her parents' disapproval, the young couple's love only grew stronger. Determined to be together, Mary would often sneak out her bedroom window just to spend time with Jack. On December 22, 1958, in Chickasha, Oklahoma, they were married, beginning a beautiful journey that would span 67 years.
Mary was kind, loving, strong-willed, and deeply devoted to those she cherished. Her family was the center of her world, and she continually pushing her husband, children, and grandchildren to reach their fullest potential. Her faith was equally important to her, and she faithfully served her Lord through her dedication to her church and Christian example.
Full of life and energy, Mary rarely sat still. She enjoyed riding her bicycle up to 12 miles a day and never missed an opportunity to dance when one of her favorite songs came on. As a teenager, she loved listening to Chantilly Lace by The Big Bopper, and later in life she could often be found smiling and dancing to Bandy the Rodeo Clown by Moe Bandy. Her joyful spirit and enthusiasm for life were evident to everyone who knew her.
Mary is survived by her loving husband, Jack Partin; daughter, Jackie Edwards; seven grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parent and son, Robert Partin.
