Funeral service for Mary Kathleen "Kathy" Phillips, 62, Chattanooga, will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, September 9, in Calvary Baptist Church, Lawton, with Dr. Randy Robertson officiating. Mrs. Phillips died Wednesday, September 4, in Snyder. Burial will be in the Chattanooga Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. The family will greet friends from 2-4 pm Sunday, September 8, at the funeral home. Kathy was born August 16, 1951 in Lawton to M.C. and Georgia C. (Hunt) Fields. She grew up in Lawton and attended Wilson Elementary School, Tomlinson Junior High School and was a 1969 graduate of Lawton High School. She married Ron Phillips on June 8, 1985 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Kathy had worked at Eisenhower High School in the computer lab for a couple of years and later worked as a computer operator for TELOS. She was a member of Calvary Baptist Church, Sweet Adeline's and often sang in the annual "Messiah" production. She was particularly fond of her cats. She is survived by her husband, of the home; two sons, Jeff Phillips and Logan Phillips, both of Lawton; three grandchildren, Jessica and Cameron Pinyan and Ella Phillips; several aunts and cousins. Her parents preceded her in death.
