Funeral service for Mary Frances Glandon, 79, Lawton, will be 10:00 a.m. Friday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Terry Marsh officiating. Mrs. Glandon died Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in Lawton. Burial will be in the Cache Cemetery under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. She was born July 14, 1933 in Rocky, Oklahoma, to John A. and Eula (Spears) Wilcox. She grew up in Lawton and attended Lawton High School until moving to Chickasha where she was a graduate of Chickasha High School and later attended the Oklahoma College for Women. She married Jerry Whitley Glandon on November 28, 1952 in Chickasha. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2010. She was a homemaker and had been active in PTA and other school activities when her children were young. She was a member of Western Hills Christian Church, a volunteer for the Comanche County Election Board, a member of Beta Sigma Phi Sorority, the Eastern Star and had been involved in hosting the Miss Lawton Pageant. She enjoyed reading, shopping, travel and crafts. She is survived by two daughters, Sheri Menendez and husband Vic, Lawton, Carrie Crow, Lawton, and son in law, Bill Crow, Tulsa; a son, Gary Glandon and Lisa Armstrong, Edmond; six grandchildren, Jamie Glandon Gerrard and Seth, Jeff Glandon, Jennifer Harrison and Shawndell, Jack Crow and Rachel, Taylor Glandon and Caitlin Glandon; five great grandchildren, Samantha and Jacob Gerrard, Rylee and Tanner Glandon, and Rylynn Crow. A son, Terry G. Glandon, and a sister, Veda Joy Wilcox, preceded her in death. Memorial contributions may be made to Lawton AMBUCS by writing a check to the Lou Brox Endowment Fund, P.O.
