Word has been received on the death of Mary Ann Fawbush, 73, Walters. Mrs. Fawbush died Saturday, December 7, 2013 in a Lawton hospital. Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born July 20, 1940 in McAlester, OK to William and Lucy (Klipel) Keplinger. She married Ernest Jerry Fawbush on December 29, 1958 in Waurika, OK. He died March 31, 2009. She retired from McMahon-Tomlinson Nursing Home, where she worked as a CNA for twenty-two years. She enjoyed television game shows, gardening, cooking and especially spending time with her grandchildren. Survivors include her daughter Jerrie Fawbush and her companion Keith Gooday of Geronimo, OK, grandchildren; Jerrad Gooday and wife Shannon of Lawton, OK, April Gooday of Geronimo, OK, Ariane Gooday of Geronimo, OK, Jordan Gooday of Geronimo, OK, Rhianna Nelson of Lawton, OK, Nehi Nelson of Fort Cobb, OK, Sallie Nelson and companion Sam Vela of Lawton, OK, eleven great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a daughter Rietta Sue Fawbush.
