Graveside service for Marty Preston Swain, 56, Apache, will be 11:00 am Wednesday, at the Fort Sill National Cemetery with Dr. William F. Watkins, Baptist Minister, officiating. Mr. Swain died Saturday in Oklahoma City. Services are under the direction of the Becker Funeral Home & Cremation Service. Marty was born August 13, 1955 at Fort Sill, Oklahoma to Franklin and Ruth (Martin) Swain. He was a 1973 graduate of Lawton High School. After graduation he joined the Marine Corps. He had been employed as a welder. Marty was an avid University of Oklahoma fan. He is survived by 2 brothers and sisters in law, Drew and Cindy Swain, Piedmont, Oklahoma and Rodney and Brenda Swain, Lawton; 22 nieces and nephews; and 2 sisters in law, Cathleen Swain, Owensville, Missouri and Mary Swain, Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Jerold Swain and Richard Swain.
