Martha Jane Spaniard, 77, of Lawton, Oklahoma, passed away at her home on Wednesday, July 17, 2024. She was born on September 24, 1946, in Pracco, Alabama, to Troy Elton Robinson and Willma Elizabeth Robinson (Snow), and spent part of her childhood in Pracco and part in Hammond, Indiana.

Martha started off as a beautician before getting a job with the United States Postal Service, where she worked for thirty years. Martha had many interests, including cars, especially fast ones. Her fascination with cars was likely handed down to her from her father who was a mechanic. She also enjoyed doing craft projects, especially ceramics, and she had a talent for designing and loved to remodel houses alongside her husband, Lou. Most notably, Martha was one of the first survivors of cervical cancer.

Martha is survived by her husband, Lou J. Spaniard; his sons, Tracy E. Bolt and his wife, Beverly, and Matthew Joseph Ober; her daughter, Priscilla Catlift and husband, David; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter, Trina Lee Woodworth; and one sister, Jackie Henderson.
