Graveside service for Marlon R. "Mike" Burns will be at 3:00 pm Wednesday, January 10, 2018 in the Mountain Park Cemetery with Chaplain Steven Gillispie, Aspire Hospice officiating.

Burial will be in the Mountain Park Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home of Snyder.

*There will be no visitation or viewing at the funeral home prior to the service.*

"Mike" Burns, 67, Mountain Park, passed away on Sunday, January 7, 2018 at his home in Mountain Park after a lengthy battle with cancer.  He was born June 6, 1950 in Olney, TX to Ray and Willodene (Perdue) Burns.  He attended schools in Olney, and later served in the U.S. Air Force.  He attended Great Plains Technology Center and received a degree in Computer Engineering.  He married Vicki Lynn Harrison on February 27, 1988 in El Paso, TX.

He is survived by his wife Vicki of the home, 3 step-children; April, Candi and Josh, 5 amazing grandchildren; Marissa, Brodie, Cruz, Brynley, and Caitlynn; his sister Cindy Burns of Lehigh Acres, FL, a brother of the heart, Johnny Clayton of Olney, TX, in-laws Alvis and Shirley Harrison, brother-in-law Gene Harrison and wife Karen of Frederick, OK, and his sister-in-law Denise Staton and husband Dustin of Altus, OK.

He was preceded in death by his mother and step-father Willodene and Leo Freville and his father Ray Burns.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Mountain Park Cemetery Association.
