Graveside service for Marjorie Jean (Skeen) Livsey will be 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, August 13, 2025 at Post Cemetery, Fort Sill, Oklahoma.

Marjorie Jean (Skeen) Livsey was born June 20, 1948 in Germany to Carl and Norma Skeen. In 1966 she graduated high school in Germany and met and fell in love with a soldier, David Richard Livsey. They married in 1967. To this union she became a mom to three children, David Jr. (Spike), Steven, and Paige.

Marjorie worked several jobs in addition to being a stay at home mom as they traveled to various military assignments supporting Dave. These jobs included being a school bus driver and child care attendant. After moving to Moore in 1990, she eventually went to work at Walmart where she made some lasting friendships as well as a longtime friendship with her neighbor and thrift shopping friend, Bobbi Richardson.

Marjorie had a gift for wanting to take care of others, especially when it came to her family. She didn't like or want people to have to care for her. She loved taking care of the grandkids, Taylor Beadle, Sarah Johnson, Jessica Hennen, Megan Livsey, Cooper Hennen, Grace Livsey, and David Hennen, and eventually the great grandbabies, Karsyn (Boogie) Pigrum, Charleigh (Sis) Pigrum, and Presley Beadle. They all called her by her favorite names: Gram, Grammy, or GaGa.

Marjorie went to be with the Lord on August 6, 2025, having lived a blessed life of 77 years and 47 days. She was preceded in death by Dave, Spike and Amy, her parents and sister, Linda Giem. She is survived by a son, Steve Livsey and a daughter, Paige Hennen and their spouses, all the grandchildren and great grandbabies, two sisters, Barbara Laney, and Claudia Pardue and a brother, Roger Skeen.
