Marjorie (Marge) Nease passed away Sunday, July 27, 2025 at Elk Crossing Nursing Home in Duncan, Oklahoma. Marjorie was born February 3, 1932 in Pawnee, Oklahoma to Marcia and O.W. Jones.
Marge's family moved around Oklahoma when she was young living in Pawnee, Sentinel, Chickasha, El Reno and finally in Lawton. Marge graduated from El Reno High School in 1950 and furthered her education by attending Oklahoma A&M University in Stillwater. After a year of college, she accepted a Civil Service position at Fort Sill and met her future husband, Leo Nease in Lawton. Marge and Leo were married in 1953 and built a life together for 56 years on the family farm in eastern Comanche County. They raised their three sons on the farm and were active in the Central High School community and loved watching the boys play sports.
Marge worked at Shepler Center for Cameron University, retiring after many years. She loved traveling with her two sisters, Dorothy Maricle and Carol Corley, while Leo drove them around the country. In her later years she thoroughly enjoyed playing card games with her close friends and loved attending her grandchildren's sporting events.
Marge loved Bethel United Methodist Church where she was a long-time active member and also enjoyed attending Bible study at Letitia Baptist Church with her friends.
Marge is survived by her sons and their wives, David and Sherrie Nease of Central High, Oklahoma and Gary and Kathy Nease of Corsicana, Texas, as well as ten grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, a son, Randy, her two sisters, a grandson, Chacey Nease, and a great granddaughter, Abigail Brown.
