Marjorie I. Bone age 93, went to heaven on Sunday, February 2, 2025.

She was born on October 1, 1931 in Lawton, Oklahoma. Her father served in the military and her family moved to California where she graduated high school and then joined the WAC's.  She was stationed in Japan and received the Korean Service Medal.

After serving, she moved back to her hometown of Lawton, Oklahoma where she met her husband, D.C. Bone.  She worked at Fort Sill until they married on July 12, 1958 and was then a bookkeeper for her husband's business and also raised three children.

Margie, as she liked to be called, was a long time member of Lawton First Assembly where she was a Sunday School teacher for many, many years.

After her children were grown, she helped care for a baby of a couple in her church who quickly became part of the family.  When her grandchildren were born, she was able to help care for them too & she loved every minute of it all.

She loved having family and friends come by the house for a visit & having her family over for Sunday dinners.

Margie enjoyed sewing, reading & doing crossword puzzles and of course, her morning coffee.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Harry & Juanita Scott, her brother and sister, and her husband, D.C. Bone.

She leaves three children & their spouses, Tammy & Dennis Richard, Tim & Jessica Bone, and Nancy & Russell Baucom; 10 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren, and several nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.

Margie was a loving, caring person, devoted wife, mother, grandmother and friend that always thought of others first – to know her was to love her.
