Funeral service for Marissa Lanae Martinez will be at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 28, 2018 at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Antoine Crump, Pastor of New Testament Christian Church officiating.

Entombment will follow in the Chapel of Peace Mausoleum at Sunset Memorial Gardens with full military honors.

The family will greet friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m. Monday at the funeral home.

Marissa Lanae Martinez, 20, Edmond, passed away, Saturday, August 18, 2018 in Oklahoma City. She was born September 7, 1997 in Phoenix, Arizona to Eric and Audrey Martinez. She went to Lawton High School and MacArthur High School before graduating from high school in Colorado. She was currently working as a waitress at On The Border in the Oklahoma City area and had recently joined the Air National Guard. She had plans to later attend college. Marissa was a vibrant young lady with a great personality and will be missed by all who knew her.

Marissa is survived by her father, Eric Martinez and step-mother, Rakkel Martinez, brother, Nathaniel Martinez, three step brothers, Elijah Aguero, Jeremiah Aguero and Zachery Aguero all of Lawton, a half-brother, Eric Martinez, Jr. of Lawton and grandmother, Catherine Martinez of Denver, Colorado and many other family members.

Marissa was preceded in death by her mother, Audrey Martinez.
