Age 69, north of Lawton - Funeral services will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday at the Becker Memorial Chapel with Rev. Leon Shade, pastor of the First Baptist Church in Apache officiating. Mrs. Silva died Friday after a lengthy illness. Burial will be in Post Cemetery, Fort Sill. She was born June 20, 1941 in Bellevue, Pennsylvania to Roy C. and Dorothy (Markle) Meeker. She married Paul J. Silva on August 26, 1961 in Pennsylvania. He died April 20, 1995. Mrs. Silva had worked as a certified nursing assistant. She was a beloved mother and sister. Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Virginia and Herb F. (Butch), III Stonehocker, two grandchildren, Herb F. (Shane) Stonehocker, IV and Beth N. Stonehocker, all of Lawton, a sister, Frances L. Sachse, north of Lawton, a brother Richard L. Meeker and his wife Eleanor, Pennsylvania and a niece Susan S. Bentley, Virginia. She is preceded in death by her husband and two brothers, Charles N. and Leroy Meeker.
