Marilyn Herring Drew passed away in Lawton, Oklahoma on Wednesday, January 31, 2024 at the age of 87.

Born in Lawton on April 2, 1936, Marilyn lived a life rich with love, joy, and cherished moments. While she faced her share of hardships, her spirit remained vibrant and kind, leaving an indelible mark on everyone she met.

Marilyn was predeceased by her beloved husband of 38 years, Kenneth Drew, and even after his passing, her love for him never dimmed.  Together, they had built a life filled with family and friends, and great memories.

But life, in its beautiful complexity, presented Marilyn with another chance at companionship with Buster Wyatt, Jr. of Lawton. Their friendship blossomed into a deep and loving bond that lasted for three decades, during which they embraced new adventures, shared countless laughs, and offered each other unwavering support.

She is survived by sons Ronnie Drew of Fort Lauderdale, Florida; Rickie Drew of Arlington, Texas; and Russell Drew and his wife Betty of Shreveport, Louisiana; brother Clinton Herring of Lawton, three grandchildren, Katy Miller, Crystal Porter and Stacy Parker, eleven great grandchildren, three great-great grandchildren, numerous nieces and nephews who she loved very much, and her beloved second family, the Buster Wyatt, Jr. family.  She will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Wednesday, February 7, 2024 at Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel in Lawton with Dr. Chad Fetzer officiating.

Private burial will follow in Cache Cemetery.
