Graveside service for Marianne Wright will be 9:00 A.M. Friday, January 12, 2024 at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin.

Burial will be under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Marianne Wright, age 91, of Lawton, passed away Monday, January 8, 2024 in Lawton,   She was born October 27, 1932 in Sattledorf, Germany to Emil and Emma Lerch.  Marianne came to the United States in 1968.  She married James E. (Gene) Wright on July 16, 1968 in Trumann, Arkansas.  He died October 10, 2022.  Marianne was very proud of becoming a United States citizen.  She loved to sew, knit and crochet.  She also loved being around her American family and friends.

Survivors include her daughter, Rita Gabretta, step- daughter, Tammy Coffee, seven grandchildren and one great grandchild.
