Mariann Helen Russell passed peacefully from this life into her eternal home on Saturday, July 19, 2025, with her family surrounding her.

Mariann was born on February 28, 1936, to Homer Davis and Ulus B Davis in Clovis, New Mexico. She married Jackson J. Russell on October 13, 1954. He preceded her in death on October 30, 2002.

Mariann came to know Jesus at an early age and lived her entire life for the Lord. Mariann and Jack served in their church at Calvary Baptist and later at Cameron Baptist. She taught Sunday School, supported her husband as a deacon, cooked at Falls Creek for years and was always involved in the church activities and fellowships, she was a wonderful mother who loved her daughters very much and would do anything for them. The Girls were taught about Jesus at an early age and were blessed to have her as their mother. The girls understand today that their greatest gift and legacy was to be taught about Jesus and living in a christian home all those years. Her grandchildren remember her witty personality, their favorite thing growing up was teasing Nana. During her later years, dementia took over, but she still had the sweet spirit and would walk around patting the other residents at the assisted living to let them know she loved them even though she was not able to talk anymore. She always had a loving spirit and cared for others. Mariann held many jobs through the years working at Public Service, Dr Frishee, Bankers Life and Glenn Oil Company.

She is survived by her daughters Patty Herber and Pam Blundell (Terry), her grandchildren, Wesley Herber, Christa Boswell (Michael), Cody Herber and Brad Blundell (Melissa), her great grandchildren, Audrea Herber, Caidyn Boswell, Makinley Boswell, Kylie Blundell, Keira Blundell, Wesley Jr. Herber, and Jackson Herber and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, son in law, Mark Herber, brothers, Don Davis and Larry Davis, and daughter, Jackie Jo Russell.

Special Thanks to Mercy Hospice and Legend at Jefferson's Garden Assisted Living.
