Funeral for Mariam M. Nix, 95, Lawton will be at 1:30 PM Wednesday at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with John Mayhue, minister at Mission Christian Church in Sand Springs, Oklahoma officiating. Mrs. Nix died Sunday, January 20, 2013 in Lawton. Burial will be in Highland Cemetery under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born May 31, 1917 in Hydro, Oklahoma to E. A. and Minnie (Shroyer) Jones. She married Leonard A. Nix on November 10, 1934 in Duncan, Oklahoma. He died November 18, 1977. Survivors include four sons and their spouses, James and Judy Nix, Lawton, Leon and Robbye Nix, Lawton, Loren and Kathy Nix, Midwest City and Dee and Beverly Nix, Lawton, sister, Ellen Lindley, Marlow, brother-In-Law, Benny Nix, Cyril, son-in-law, Ernest Johnson, Carlisle, Pennsylvania and eighty four grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Wanda Johnson and a son, Robert Nix and daughter-in-law, Daviline Nix. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Hospice, 1925 W.
