Funeral for Marguerite M. Raymond, 78, Lawton will be at 1:30 PM Saturday at the Becker-Rabon Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Dr. Bill Schneider officiating. Mrs. Raymond died Wednesday, March 6, 2013 in Lawton. Burial will be held at a later date at Fort Sill National Cemetery, Elgin under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home. She was born June 20, 1934 in Santa Rosa, California to Jasper D. and Pauline (Mitchell) Grubbs. Mrs. Raymond was a hair stylist for forty five years. She married SFC (Retired) Edward E. Raymond on January 4, 1972 in Waurika, Oklahoma. He died May 24, 2003. Survivors include two sons, Joseph Frank Beavers, Wichita Falls, Texas and Danny Phillips, Los Angeles, California, two sisters, Cariann G. Cackler, Cushing, Oklahoma and Betty Julia Medford, Sundown, Texas and a brother, Jasper Grubbs, San Antonio, Texas. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents and a daughter, Rita Phillips. The family will greet friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Friday at the funeral home.
