Funeral service for Margaret "Naomi" Moore will be 10:00 a.m. Monday, January 3, 2022, at The Church of God with Rev. Ron Howard, Pastor officiating.

Burial will follow in Letitia Cemetery East of Lawton under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.

Margaret "Naomi" Moore, 92, of Lawton, Oklahoma passed away Wednesday, December 29, 2021, in Wichita Falls, Texas.

Naomi was born June 3, 1929, in Stratford, Oklahoma to Vernie E. and Annie (Smith) Sloan. As a teenager she moved to Lawton and while working at the Shamrock Café she met James "Jiggs" Moore and they were married August 3, 1946, in Lawton, Oklahoma. From then on, she spent all her time taking care of her family and making a home for them. She also enjoyed doing a little gardening.

Naomi is survived by three children, Danny Lee Moore and wife Rita, Linda Prowell and Judy Wharry; eight grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren; twelve great great grandchildren; one brother, Donald Sloan, and wife Edith and one sister, Helen Perkins.

She was preceded by her parents; her husband, James D. Moore; three sons, Michael Lynn Moore, James Allen Moore, and Gary Wayne Moore; son in law, John Wharry; grandson, Stephen Moore; great grandson Makaio Younger; nine brothers; 2 sisters and brother-in-law, Jerry Perkins.
