Age 78, Lawton - Funeral services will be at 10:30 AM Tuesday in the Becker Funeral Home Memorial Chapel with Rev. William F. Todd, Senior Pastor, Centenary United Methodist Church and Jack Graves, Marlow, officiating. Mrs. Commings-Lyle died Saturday in a local hospital. Burial will be in the Duncan City Cemetery under the direction of Becker Funeral Home. She was born in Duncan on March 13, 1929 to Harris and Cecil (Howard) Gatlin. She attended the Marlow Public Schools and Cameron State College. She was employed as the office manager and administrator at the Talley-Walker Hospital and Clinic from 1959 to 1971 in Marlow. She was a social worker for the State of Oklahoma from 1971 till 1989. After retiring she was a volunteer at Comanche County Memorial Hospital for 9 years. She was a member of the E S A Sorority and served on the board at the Center for Creative Living. She married Col. Lloyd L. Willis on November 10, 1984 at Fort Sill. He died May 30, 1988. She then married Arvle L. Commings on September 7, 1989 in Comanche, OK. He died January 20, 2001. She married Robert C. Lyle in Lawton on July 2, 2004. Survivors include her husband of the home; a step daughter, Marti Tancula; 2 step sons, Cliff Lyle and Rick Lyle; and close friends, Karen Prestage and Sylvia Ecker. She was preceded in death by her parents; a sister, Maurine Dunn; and a brother, Harris Hugh Gatlin.
