Graveside funeral service for Margaret Ann Lewis will be 1:00 p.m. Friday, February 5, 2016 in Fort Sill National Cemetery.
Arrangements are under the direction of Becker-Rabon Funeral Home.
Margaret Ann Lewis, age 73, passed from this life on January 30, 2016 in Lawton. She was born June 26, 1942, in Bryan, Texas, the third child of Joseph and Elizabeth Dove.
Raised in a Christian home Margaret attended United Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. U.L. Green. He later established the Greater Faith Church where she also attended. Later, she joined the fellowship at Frontier Chapel, Fort Sill.
Margaret graduated in 1961 from E.A. Kemp High School and later attended Tyler Beauty College where she became a licensed cosmetologist. She married Clinton Lewis, Jr. on February 3, 1963 in Belton, Texas and together they had two daughters.
She was employed by the Department of the Army for 20 years at Reynolds Army Community Hospital at Fort Sill, Oklahoma. She was a member of the Sisters Abiding in Christ and the Fort Sill NCO Wives Club.
She leaves to cherish her memories her husband, Clinton, of the home; two daughters and sons in law, Cynthia D. and Walter Taylor, Colorado Springs, Colorado and Kimberly A. and Antonio Millner, Harker Heights, Texas; two precious granddaughters, Elizabeth C.A. Millner and Cydnee A. Taylor; eight sisters, Maggie Williams, Dallas, Texas, Sylvia Gordon and husband Robert, Barbara Young and husband Edis and Dorothy Phillips and husband Ernest, all of Bryan Texas, Beulah Graham, Houston, Texas, Freddie Scott and husband Oliver, Texas City, Texas and Tracy Thomas and husband Brent, Austin, Texas; two brothers, Charles Dove, Bryan, Texas and Jesse Dove and wife Sharon, Houston, Texas.
Preceding her in death are her parents, Joseph and Elizabeth, sisters, Elizabeth Dove and Lillie Ann Dove, and brothers, Sylvester Dove, Sr. and Joseph Dove, Jr.
